Meet Karen 

Karen Thomson is the founder of Sugar-Free Revolution, an advocate of healthy eating, and a health + wellness coach committed to helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies from the inside out ❤️

 

She is also the driving force behind The Sugar-Free Revolution movement and blog, author of the UK and South African bestselling book Sugar-Free: 8 Weeks to Freedom from Sugar and Carb Addiction, founder of HELP: Harmony Eating & Lifestyle Program (2012), and creator of the first-ever LCHF Health Summit which took place in Cape Town February 2015.

More about Karen...

Through her extensive experience of working with clients suffering from addiction and eating disorders, she identified the need for a program assisting individuals in beating their sugar and carb addiction. Once struck with the idea, Karen approached some of the top people in the health and addictions fields to create a world-class treatment program dealing with the emotional, psychological, physiological, and spiritual aspects of addiction and so The Sugar-Free Revolution was born. 

 

Her team included doctors, nurses, dietitians, qualified addictions, psychiatrists, Occupational therapists, counselors, and trauma specialists with the treatment including nutritional intervention, intensive trauma therapy, somatic breathwork, addictions counseling, mediation, art therapy, exercise, and more.

 

Her Sugar Free Revolution website, blog, and online treatment programs are based on the following principles which she herself practices in her own life.
